2 Day Hike - Plymouth to Looe
A true flavour of Cornwall’s Forgotten Corner!
2 days, 24 glorious miles (39km).
Day 1: Plymouth to the Finnygook Inn
Start your adventure crossing the river Tamar, the natural county boundary between Devon and Cornwall and start your walk around the beautiful Mt Edgcumbe estate. Weave between tall trees and explore historic relics, follies, and paths with stunning vistas or lush green canopies before arriving in the twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand.
The beautiful villages give way to a forrested track that emerges out onto the Atlantic. From here explore historic ruins and make your way to Rame Head Chapel: St Michael's Hermitage dating from 1425! From here wind your way across the open expanse of Whitsand Bay, enjoying exploring the cliffs and an endless horizon of blue water. Your accommodation for the night awaits at the end of the bay!
Day 2: Finnygook Inn to Looe
